Bio

Nashville, TN native Toiya Kristen Finley creates fiction and nonfiction reading materials for elementary and middle school readers. Her work for adults has appeared invarious online and print venues. Upcoming fiction will be in Farrago's Wainscot, Sybil's Garage, Electric VelocipedeDoorways Magazine, and Triquorum.  She is the founding and former fiction editor of Harpur Palate. She holds a PhD in Literature and Creative Writing from Binghamton University.

She is currently at work on a novel revision and a comics series. She hopes there's enough time to get around to every other project idea she has floating in her head.
