Bio

This biography is a placeholder.

Kelly Swails is a clinical microbiologist by day and a writer by night. When she's not wrestling bacteria or unruly characters, she can be found reading, knitting, or playing Guitar Hero. It's rumored she sleeps occasionally, but that has yet to be proven. She, her husband, and their three cats live in Illinois.

Kelly Swails is currently eligible for the John W. Campbell Award for best new science fiction or fantasy writer whose first work of science fiction or fantasy was published in a professional publication in the previous two years.
