Bio

Ian McHugh is a graduate of the Clarion West writers' workshop and an annual grand prize winner in the Writers of the Future contest. He recently had his first win at Australia's Aurealis Awards, in the best fantasy short story category. His stories have appeared in venues including Asimov's, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Greatest Uncommon Denominator, Ennea, Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Escape Pod, Pseudopod and the anthologies Clockwork Phoenix 2 and Twenty Epics. All of his stories except for the one in CP2 can be read online, either at or through his website, http://ianmchugh.wordpress.com. Ian lives in Canberra, Australia and is a member of the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild (CSFG).

Ian McHugh is currently eligible for the John W. Campbell Award for best new science fiction or fantasy writer whose first work of science fiction or fantasy was published in a professional publication in the previous two years.
