Gwenda Bond's debut novel, Blackwood, was released in 2012 from Strange Chemistry, the YA imprint of Angry Robot Books. Her next novel, The Woken Gods, will be released in September 2013. She is also a contributing writer for Publishers Weekly, a reviewer for Locus, the guest-editor of Subterranean Online's 2011 special YA issue, and LCRW's Dear Aunt Gwenda. She and her husband SF author Christopher Rowe live in a hundred-year-old house in Lexington, Kentucky.
Gwenda Bond is currently eligible for the John W. Campbell Award for best new science fiction or fantasy writer whose first work of science fiction or fantasy was published in a professional publication in the previous two years.
