Bio

D.B. Grady is currently eligible for the John W. Campbell Award for best new science fiction or fantasy writer whose first work of science fiction or fantasy was published in a professional publication in the previous two years.


Grady is a graduate of Louisiana State University and lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife and family. He is a former paratrooper with U.S. Army Special Operations Command and is a veteran of Afghanistan.


D.B. Grady is a member of the Authors Guild and Bayou Writers Group. Previous publications include short stories and essays everywhere from Boys' Life to The Atlantic. Red Planet Noir is his debut novel.
