Bio
Claire Humphrey used to write mainstream short fiction and sell it to small Canadian magazines, because she felt shy about putting too many magicians in. Upon coming to her senses, she attended Viable Paradise in 2008, and embarked upon her fantasy-writing career. In addition to the two stories below, she has another forthcoming from Strange Horizons in spring. She also writes novels.
When not writing, Claire is a buyer for Indigo Books, and reviews editor at Ideomancer.
